The birth of the CameraSlingers

First and foremost I have to give a huge Shoutout to PHOTOGRAPHYMENTOR.com ! Robert and Curt you have become great friends and a big part

of my everyday life. thank you for believing in me and my larger than life

personalty. You guys rocked it at WPPI. I cant wait to go with you guys

on thePhoto Fusion Tour this year, it will be REAL. For being such superstars, I get taken

back by your willingness to help everyday photographers.

Just a warning, I am high on emotions so this is going to get

long, but try to make it till the end.

Because I am going to give you the back story RAW.

CameraSlingers and Photography Mentor

Cameraslingers is a product I created for myself more than a year ago and had no real intentions of sharing

with the world. It was on PM (photographymentor), that my personal camera strap gave

birth.

I spend many of nights on PM talking with my little crew of

friends redeye crew talking and seeding our love for wedding

photography while editing late into the night and early morning hours.

to everyone who has supported and me in the ups and downs In the late

night hours.

In particular Robert Evans, Curt Apanovich, Daniel J Pesta, Elena Hernandez, Gary Hanfield, Robb Davidson, Nancy Ramos, Kerry-G Camera DoJO, David Esquire (hollllllla). You guys are my core and

made me a better photographer and are some of the very key people that

made CameraSlingeers happen.

I am HIGH on emotions!!! Vegas Rocked harder than my wildest dreams!!!!

Thank you to everyone who has stayed up with me the

nights leading up to Vegas, encouraging me to keep with it. In the dark

hours when I needed sleep and could not see the light at the end of the

tunnel. We had the ultimate Vegas WPPI story. Myself and my make

shift team of 99% PM ers. Armed with a Case of CameraSlingers

camera straps, 2K in flyers, 200 shirts (the swag).

We did not have a

booth, or really a plan, I just knew I had a great product I wanted to share with the world

Before Thur, 15 people from this site

knew about cameraslingers and my Parents. I honestly didnt think we would sell even

SUPERSTARS . Im mean BIG flipping

Super stars. Bought and talked about my camera straps during their

platform classes in front packed crowds. (we had tons of footage)

The

OMG moments that happen during this trip are stories that audiobooks are

made of. Cool

People flocked in crowds to see this crazy new product.

There were two times were I lost it, tears uncontrollable falling

down my face. I had left MGM in search of a I-phone (after not being

able to keep up with text messages) when I get a call from Jessica

(sales distributor) that Joe Bussink took the strap

off of her back during his platform class in front of 100s of people

and wanted one. I sat down in the middle of Best Buy, tears pouring out of my

eyes. This was really happening.

Followed the next day by Elena Hernandez calling me with her super star friend, Parker J

wanting to talk to me on the phone. The water flow of tears stared again in the

middle of the New york Hotel.

Parker J and OMGoodness Gene Higa, JB and Dette Sallee made the Camera Slingers a part of there platform class give aways.

hotel room bathtub after one rocking Pictage party while Nancy and I trying to get just 3 more straps together.
